A remake to the the game Evil After: Trance

It tells a story of a female character, Trance. As she wakes up from a seemingly slumber,  she figures out what is happening to her world. She meets old friends who are now her enemies. One, by one, she fights them. 

The game is a 2D side-scrolling adventure platformer featuring a unique storyline. Play the game. Defeat Trance’  enemies and bosses. Solve puzzles. Unlock the mystery. Acquire new abilities.

The game is still far from complete. Even the demo needs improvements. You can help by dropping us comments, feedbacks, bug reports, etc. on our facebook page facebook.com/pantoygames

Hi, devs.

I've played Trance and liked it. The atmosphere is great, the history has potential and the boss was pretty cool to fight against, well done. 

I think the normal enemies were not challenging enough, though. They were distinct, yes, and that's cool: the sword guy, the javeling guy, the spinning one, the shooter and the runner. But they were not challenging. Most of the time i was able to just run to them and stab stab kill, and they would do nothing. This, particularly, broke a little bit of my immersion, as it often seemed i was fighting with mannequins.

Also, i think some parts of the platforming are rather hard and strange, especially the one right before the first checkpoint, with the moving platform. In some parts, to, i could just take advantage of the invincibility time post-damage to ignore sections at all. This, also, takes away a little bit of the immersion.

Besides these little things, the game is good. Keep up the good work!

Here, i also recorded and posted full length gameplay of the demo. I hope it can be of some use.

I suggest that the player will able to customize protagonist's cloths, attributes' scores, gender  and name

Its not applicable since it is part of the story but thanks for suggestion hehe

I suggest that the game will include some random features, like random obstacles, items, enemies and  tasks (not necessarily procedural generation) for allowing game replaying (Replay value)

Hii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful for the development :D

-First things first, the main idea is quite interesting and has a lot of potential :D

-The visual style is quite good, but you need to polish it a little bit as there's sometimes when enemies become hard to see, and as you could be able to see on the video, I got hitted by some of them without knowing they where there.

-The combat system is interesting but needs to be polished, maybe adding a block/parry option could make it a little bit more dynamic/polished.

-The platforming is very interesting and there's a lot of thought behind it, but it needs to be polished, maybe making it a little bit easier at the beggining so new players can get used to it easily could work, as what I felt was that the platforming was interesting but also that I wasn't able to do it properly as a result of my lack of control, it could also be my fault for going into the wrong place or something like that, so if that's the case tell me :)

-Maybe a lot of what I've said before sounds pretty negative, but the truth is that I really enjoyed playing the game, becasuse despite of what I've said the gameplay experience overall is pretty enjoyable/ interesting and I can see a lot of potential on it.

In conclusion, the idea is great and I hope you keep working on it. Hopefully this is useful for the development :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)


Wow thanks for the feedback.. we are planning to have the parry move in next major update... in next minor update will reduce enemy life and add more light to dark areas where there is enemy
